Tour advert published in music press. Photos of The Beatles on stage at the Caird Hall. Two different sources of film footage survive from this Caird Hall gig. One is silent film showing The Beatles arrive at Caird Hall, with footage from the concert itself. This includes all of the support acts and shots of the crowd to go with it. The other is TV footage which was broadcast on Grampian Television. Along with some concert action, it also has an amusing interview with The Beatles behind the scenes in Dundee. |

The Dundee gig was cancelled when the opportunity for The Who to visit America cropped up during this UK tour. They arranged to fly out on the 23rd (Dundee date) but that too was cancelled due to visa problems. So both Dundee and USA missed out! |
